Dean will be deeply missed by his wife of 69 years, Cathy; children, Dick (Patti), Susie (Tom) Ganzer, Dan (Deanna), Mary (Dan) Gamache, John, Judy (Don) Brock and Jim; grandchildren, Angela, Christie, Brian, David, Katie, Gina, Lisa, Amy, Stephanie, Bobby, Tommy, Alex, Jack, Noah, Natalie, Nick, Sam, Maddy and Olivia; 13 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Brian Mangine. Preceded in death by his daughter, Karen; grandson, Danny; brothers, Jerry, Bob and Gary.
Dean proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was a longtime employee of St. Paul Water Utilities and retired as General Manager. He was very active in his church community. He was a lector, participated in Men’s Club, and served communion to the homebound.
Evening Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27 from 4pm-8pm, at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Wednesday, September 28 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 6133 15th St. N, Oakdale, with visitation one hour prior to mass. Burial at Union Cemetery, Maplewood.
