Robert Alan Brent

Robert Alan (Bob) Brent of Oakdale, Minnesota passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 57 in St. Paul after a short and fierce battle with lung cancer. Born to Merle (Kealy) and Macy Brent Jr. on November 14, 1966, Bob was the youngest of 8 children. Bob grew up in Oakdale and worked in construction. He welcomed his children, Arron, Branden, and Holly between 1990 and 1997; as an avid fisherman, Bob loved to spend time with his children and friends on local lakes and rivers. When he wasn’t fishing, he could be found fixing cars, boating and jet skiing with his kids, or helping family and friends with yard work, home repairs, or mending vehicles.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Macy Brent Jr., and his beloved dog, Casper.

He is survived by his children, Arron, Branden, and Holly; mother, Merle Kealy Brent; sisters, Barbara Thompson, Patti Peerboom, Cindy Hackett, Julie Anderson (Miguel Tototzintle), Brenda Collier (Garry), Vickie Maus (Jeff) and brother, Macy Brent III (Jeanne); as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Wulff Funeral Home in Woodbury on October 30th from 4:00-7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help with Bob’s recent medical expenses and funeral arrangements.
