June Carol May (Masterman) Nielsen, age 87 of Oak Park Heights, MN passed away Dec. 9, 2020. Born in St Paul, MN to Carl & Ruby (Johnson) Masterman. She graduated from Harding High School and went on to receive her Business Associates Degree. She worked for 3M, Burlington Northern, and then for many years with School District #625. She married Gordon Russell “Bud” Nielsen, who survives, along with their two children Susan (Steve), and David (Diane); grandchildren: Eric, Hunter, Chase; her companion dog and walking partner Amber Sue. June was involved in the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Red Hats, enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending the summers at the cabin with family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer Association. Private family services with burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
