A devoted spouse, loving father, cherished brother, beloved son, supportive uncle, and friend to many, Brian’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Born in Bellevue, Nebraska on July 5, 1965, Brian was the son of Delores and Donald Wilson. Over the years, Brian lived in Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin, and California. He attended high school in Elmwood, Wisconsin, and later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Math from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. Upon returning to Wisconsin, Brian met the love of his life, Marcia Twiss, and they were united in marriage on September 14, 1991. Together, they welcomed two daughters, Allison and Nicole, whom Brian adored and was always eager to talk about.
Brian was a talented database administrator with over 25 years of service. His exceptional technical skills were complemented by a passion for continuous learning. Always on the cutting edge, Brian enjoyed experimenting with new cooking techniques and was known for his remarkable culinary creations. Meals at his home were memorable events.
A voracious reader and meticulous researcher, Brian approached life with an insatiable curiosity and a determination to uncover accurate answers. His love for Zombie movies showcased his unique sense of humor and creativity, while his enthusiasm for travel allowed him to share his adventures with those he cherished.
Despite a courageous battle with kidney failure, Brian faced his illness with the same strength and resolve that marked his approach to life. His spirit, intelligence, and zest for living will be deeply missed.
Brian is survived by his wife Marcia, daughters Allison and Nicole, brother Tim (Yan), father Donald, brother-in-law and close friend Michael Twiss, sister-in-law Karen True (Dan), nieces Kelsey and Stephanie True and Michelle Wilson. His furry friend Hazel will miss him dearly as well.
A Memorial Service celebrating Brian’s life will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM with Visitation from 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury, MN 55125.
Brian will be remembered for his unwavering love, boundless knowledge, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. May he rest in peace.
