Arlene L. (Smith) Richards, Age 91, of Woodbury, formerly of Maplewood and Roseville, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2022, surrounded by family.
Retired Group Health nurse practitioner, long-time member of Trinity Presbyterian Church (Woodbury) and several bridge groups. Arlene was born in Duluth on March 18, 1931, to Charles and Lillian Smith. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Bill; siblings Myrtle (Harry) Card, Chester (Fern) Smith, Howard Smith and infant brother Charles. Arlene is survived by children David (Debra Hale), Diane, Tom and Jim; grandchildren Delaney and Braeden; sister Shirley (Bernard) Kilgore; sister-in-law Margaret Smith; many nieces and nephews.
Interment Friday, September 9 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) in lieu of flowers.
