Diane was born at Pheasant Forks (Duff), Saskatchewan, on February 10th, 1941 to Fred and Ruth Porat. The family moved to Summerberry and then to Grenfell.
Diane married Don McLeod and had 2 children Dale and Delores.
Diane worked at SaskTel from 1958 until 1963 and SaskPower from 1972 until she retired in 2002.
Diane loved her family and took all the grandchildren to swimming lessons at both Crooked Lake and in Grenfell every year. She enjoyed golfing and playing cribbage with them.
Diane loved to garden, bake, knit, sew, curl, and play cards. Pickles, vegetables, slippers, pot-holders, quilts, were items she lovingly made. She gave these items freely making special quilts for weddings, births, and for everyday use. She also made quilts, toques and scarves for Angels for Hope and NICU, as well as many other worthy causes.
Diane leaves many friends and family members to mourn her passing.

Brothers and Sisters Wilson/Bonnie Porat, Donna/Stan Czerwonka, Grant/Lois Porat, Gail/Bill Kardash, Carol Grey/Terry Gwilliam and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Diane was predeceased by her parents Fred and Ruth, Don McLeod, special friend John McMillan, son-in-law Mark, and nephew Michael.
Diane’s memory will live on in the hearts of all us who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held in the Grenfell United Church, Grenfell, Saskatchewan on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Koshy David and Rev. Wilson Porat officiating. Interment of cremated remains in Grenfell Cemetery.
