Charlene presently resided on Cega’kin (Carry the Kettle). She was predeceased by her brother Troy Robin and maternal/paternal grandparents Agnes and MacKay Saulteaux and Clara and Archie Thomson.
Charlene leaves behind her loving parents Ivan and Fairlene Thomson; her children Brandon Christopher (Fawn) and Hannah Marie; her siblings: Tamara (Trevor Acoose), Mickey Owen (Beth Thomson), Jackie Faye (Dwayne Davis), Ivan Brandley Jr., Lisa Dale, Landa Lee (Eddie Tawiyaka), Burton James and Makenzie Adams and Connor Vincent; her special cousin/sister Myrtle Thomson (Tim Rockthunder); her special niece Sophie Rain; her adopted sister Illa Aisaican and adopted grandfather Felix Ashdohonk and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and special aunties Linda Thomson and Aggie (Agnes) Thomson.

A visitation for family and friends was held in the Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 210 Claude Street, Wolseley, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service was held in the Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bernice Saulteaux officiating. All those who wish to pay their respects are welcome to attend. Covid-19 protocols will be in effect. Lunch will be held in the Sintaluta Town Hall following the service.
Charlene touched many lives with her caring smiling nature she dedicated extra time for her services as a Personal Care Worker at Lakeside Nursing Home in Wolseley, Saskatchewan from 2001 to 2018 she also dedicated some time to Cegakin Home Care, she provided many residents requiring loving care and attention to be attended to by her gentle giving hands. Charlene past time was reading, spending time with family, visiting her special friend and co-worker Leah McKenna, shopping gifts for loved ones and spoiling her niece Sophie, and going to the movies with her two favorite movie buddies Sister’s Tamara and Myrtle and taking car rides with Felix and Mom (Fairlene).
Charlene fought a long, courageous battle and had wonderful care support from all her nurses special thank you from the family to the staff at Critical Care Unit (CCU) at the Regina General Hospital and thank you to staff at Indian Hospital.
