Brenda Marie McRobbie

Brenda leaves behind her loving husband Bill of 44 years; son Chris McRobbie of Edmonton Alberta, and daughter Chantelle (James) Outhwaite of Broadview, Saskatchewan; grandchildren Brianna, Riley and Madison McRobbie; Carson and Leah Outhwaite; mother Ethel Reiger of Grenfell, Sk. and brother Brian (Joanne) Reiger of Edmonton, AB.; along with may other family and friends.

Brenda was born in Grenfell, Saskatchewan and she attended both Broadview and Whitewood Schools having lived just outside of Percival, SK on a farm in her younger years before moving into Broadview. Brenda formed lifelong friendships from her school years, and years of working at the Centennial Lodge, LC Corral and finally the Broadview Medical Clinic.

She loved sports and was great at many including baseball and more memorable was her golfing. Some of her other hobbies included her gardening, flowers indoors and out and she also loved to cross stitch, knit and crochet. She started small by making slippers, toques and mitts. She then started making her close friends and family members grad blankets and baby blankets as memory gifts for the important occasions. She had plans right up to the most recent grandbabies of close friends.

Brenda loved her grandchildren very much and would make the time to travel to see them every summer and even braved more than one camping vacation with all 5 grandchildren with only Dad. She loved holidays where we could all gather together and be one big noisy household.

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Broadview Community Centre.
