James Michael Lasky

Jim was born June 27, 1953 in Waterbury, a son of the late George Lasky and Jennie Pasucci. Growing up, Jimmy was taken care of by his mother, Jennie, who loved and cherished him. He lived a happy life with many visits from his loving sister Joan, and many others. He enjoyed the many relationships made at South Coleman Group Home in Wolcott, listening to The Beatles, and his favorite things to eat, spaghetti and meatballs, cheesecake, maccaroni, and don't forget the coffee!

He will be dearly missed by his family; his sister Joan Vidal and her husband Carl of Waterbury, brother John Lasky and his wife Susan Bishop of MA., nieces & nephews, Louis Gonzalez and his wife Silky, Matthew Ocasio and his wife Jessica, Amanda Santiago and her husband Luis, Michelle Brown and her husband Timothy, several great nieces and nephews, cousins Diane and Kurt Ouellette, Carol Miller and Patricia Snyder, and his wonderful friends and caregivers from South Coleman Group Home, Latoya, Akia, Mahesh, Loradonna and Carolyn.

In addition to his parents, Jim is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Lasky.

A visitation for James will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, with a prayer service at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
