In his lifetime, Ken was a Pastor of several churches, Director of Music and sang in a quartet for the Piedmont Bible College. He also performed at the Grand Ole Opry. He spent over 25 years in the automotive industry. He then went back to his first calling becoming the Director of Compassion Corner at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. He always had a heart for the less fortunate. Ken enjoyed traveling, visiting 6 of the 7 continents. He had an eclectic taste in music that ranged from Pavarotti to Willie Nelson to the Eagles. Ken was an avid reader who believed in the pursuit of knowledge. His passions also extended to photography, biscuits and gravy, Mexican food and dad jokes.
Ken is preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette (Dallas) Greer, son-in-law, Jim Braddock and granddaughter, Jackie Crowell.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 19 years, Carol Blevins; daughters, Karen Braddock and Heather (Marvin Joseph) Cooke-Joseph; stepdaughters, Kimberly (Chuk) Colombani, Carrie Nugent and Becca Crowell; stepson, Don (Nanci) Crowell; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Lizzie, Neville and Hensleigh; four great grandchildren, nephew, Tim Greer and beloved fur babies, Cody and Teddy.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 12noon at Maitland Presbyterian Church, 341 North Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751. A private graveside service will follow at Palm Cemetery, Winter Park, Florida.
Donations in remembrance of Ken may be made to Maitland Presbyterian Church in his name or in the name of Compassion Corner.
