Bruce Eugene Scott, 58, of Oviedo, Fla., died Saturday, April 18, 2015, surrounded by his family at home under the care of Hospice of the Comforter. Born April 5, 1957, in Williamsport, Penn., Bruce was the son of James E. and Peggy A. (Stuempfle) Scott. Bruce and his wife Holly L. (Stein) Scott celebrated 32 years of marriage in July 11, 2014. Bruce graduated from South Williamsport High School in 1975, received his Bachelor's of Electric Engineering at Bucknell University in 1979, and his Master's of Business Administration from Florida Technical University. He worked for Frito Lay where he met Holly, followed by Harris Corporation and finally Lockheed Martin. Surviving in addition to his wife Holly is son, Matt (Laura) Scott and daughter, Rachel (Adriel) Perez, both of Winter Springs, Fla. He was a son-in-law to Albert Stein and the late Lois Stein. Bruce is survived by one brother, Paul (Denice) Scott, of South Williamsport, Penn; three sisters, Debbie (Rich) Poisel, of Vail, Ariz.; Linda (Mike) Tate, of Williamsport, Penn.; Karen (Chris) Blackburn, of Mountville, Penn.; sister in-law Robin (Steven) Burstein, of Philadelphia, Penn.; as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved deeply. Bruce was preceded in death by his sister; Cindy (Tom) Scott Bryan and nephew Thomas W. Bryan II. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church followed by interment at Glen Haven Memorial with Pastor Melanie Ruta officiating.
