Robert Fitser

Robert (Bob) George Fitser, 87, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 peacefully in his sleep. Bob was the husband of Mary Fitser, and they were married for 65 years. Bob was born on August 29,1932 in Forty Fort, PA to his loving parents Daniel and Alice Fitser. Bob was a Veteran of the United States Air force and served his country during the Korean War. Following his return, he worked for many years in hardwood sales throughout the state of Florida. Bob retired from his working career while working with Cypress Gardens where he worked as a parking attendant, and also worked in and helped to build the Train Room.

Bob was a born-again Christian, and has been a member of Central Baptist Church in Winter Haven for many years.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Cheri Revette; sister, Ruth Nygren; Grandchildren, Audra Kosensky and her husband Tom, Adam Crews, Mickey Crews and his wife Joanna, and Robbie Crews and his wife Abbey; and 9 great grand children: Kiersten, Keely, Kayla, Kathryn, Keegan, Kennedy, Wyatt, Isabella and Carter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Fitser; parents, Daniel and Alice Fitser; brother, Daniel Fitser; sister, Shirley Rozelle; daughter, Lynn Williams; son-in-law Michael Revette.

Arrangements are being handled through Ott Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven, FL.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th at 11AM, Central Baptist Church 57 6th Street NW Winter Haven, FL 33881.
