Lake Wales- Maurice H. “Bud” Martin, Jr. age 87, of Lake Wales, FL passed away November 17, 2014 due to renal failure. He was born February 19, 1927 in Columbus, OH the son of Maurice H. Martin, SR. and Nelle Leach. He was owner/operator of Bud Martin Chevrolet in Mt, Vernon, OH, Eagle Rent A Car in Mt. Vernon, OH, and Martin Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge in Johnstown, OH. He was a 32nd degree Mason of 65 years. He was a Gideon.
In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his daughter Marlene. He is survived by his wife, of 69 years, Bonnie Martin, son Michael and wife Brenda, daughter Jody Lee and husband Curtis, grandchildren David Hayes, Elise Sadoun, Robert Forbes and Sean Hayes, 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Memorial services are Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10am at the Towerwood Mobile Home Community, 22301 US Hwy 27 N., Lake Wales, FL.
