He was born on September 12, 1950 to Alvin and Florence Renney in

Slocomb, AL. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday,

December 5, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family asks, in lieu of

flowers, to please donate to the American Cancer Society. We welcome

anyone that would like to share a special memory to please do so, as

we celebrate his life and the wonderful times we all were blessed to

experience with Jerry “Sidewinder” Renney, Sr.

Jerry was one of six children, a printer by trade, and outdoorsman by

heart. He was a memorable member of the KRVSA. His love of the

outdoors, hunting, fishing, and airboating were not only shared with

his sons and wife, but with his lifelong friends as well.

Jerry is preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Florence Renney and

sister, Debra Mulligan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50

years, Linda Ann Renney, his children Jerry C. Renney, Jr. (Teresa)

and Patrick Renney (Ciera), grandchildren Brooke, Garrett, Hanley,

Tanner, and Brynlee, and siblings Aleta Renney, Earl Renney, Danny

Renney, and Barbra Burke.
