Carl R. Smith of Sebring, Florida passed away at his home of cancer on November 15, 2020. He was born in Little Hocking, Ohio on May 22, 1947 to the late George W. and Mildred Foutty Smith.
Carl served in the Navy from 1966 to 1969. After serving he worked for Demuth Glass Plant for 10 years. In 1997 he worked at the Knights Inn and retired in 2007. He was a hunter, loved wood working and working in his shop.
Carl is survived by his wife Nancy who he married on February 15, 1999, his son Jamie Smith and wife Ashley, step-daughter Kathy Casto and husband Basil, 5 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Mary Bowman, brothers Barnard Smith and wife LuAnn and Robert smith and wife Elsie. He was preceded in death by his brother Bill.
A memorial service will be held in West Virginia at a later date.
