Byron G. Hamilton passed away on December 9, 2024 after a long illness. He leaves behind his wife Beverly Hamilton, daughter, Paula Hamilton, step daughter, Cherish Swinson, step son, Dwight Swinson, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Byron was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam and Korea. He was very active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars post, district, and State of Florida. He was a Legacy Member of the VFW. He was retired from both Coca-Cola and Orkin Extermination.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11:30 am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. A celebration of Byron’s life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 1 pm at V.F.W. Post 4289 in Winter Haven, Florida.
