Sympathy to Mark and Sandy on this one year anniversary of your loss.

My name is Evelyna Seabolt.  My father Earl Johnson, worked for Mr. Holland. He always had nothing but good things, to say about him. I'm so sorry for your loss. God bless you all.

Steve was my Dad's cousin and I will always remember the great stories. I recently learned of his passing and am very saddened by this news. 

It was my great privilege to serve Robert on his visits to Biloxi,  MS.   He was friendly and always ready to visit.   I will miss our talks.

Our sincere condolenses to the Holland family.   We met Steve many years ago at New Smyrna Speedway during the World Series.    He was always so kind, generous and love to tease us “Michiganders’.   During the World Series there would be such cold nights - I would leave the stands early and   David Rogers would win the feature.    In subsequent years, Steve would tease me and send me to the car to ensure David’s win.  We had great laughs over that.   
Steve was always interested in our lives and loved sharing his ranch stories as well.  Early on Steve invited us to the ranch to meet Connie and gave us a grand tour.  We were so touched that he took a day out of his life for us.   That speaks to the kindness and generosity of Steve Holland.     We will dearly miss him at the track.     Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You Dad was a special friend to Joe and I many.many moons ago. He and your Mom are together now watching over you and your family.
Our deepest sympathy~

Bossman wasn’t just a sponsor to David, he was family.  We sat together for years in the stands and most nights I’d bring him a warm blackberry cobbler from the osteen diner.  I remember one particularly cold speedweeks.  “Well, I got some dog blankets in the truck if you don’t mind the smell”. Boss and I laughed for years remembering how thankful we were for those stinky dog blankets!
One time a friend and her son joined us for a couple of nights. The second night her son looked at me and proclaimed, “I have decided what I want to be when I grow up!”  “What?”, we asked. “Bossman!” He said. Well I can agree with that. Who wouldn’t want to be respected, loved, and admired.  Wouldn’t it be nice if we all had such big hearts, such loyalty to our friends, such a way of making everyone feel included. 
I sure will miss Boss. It’s like losing another little piece of David for me. But I’ll also just miss him because he was Bossman. I loved
Hearing his slow drawl as he told about  the ranch and burning the woods. His crazy squirrel , cattle, and gator stories.  
Boss was a true hero and it would be devastating to think of losing him unless we hold on to the hope of Jesus. I love in John when He tells us ,” I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, for I have overcome the world.”    
Praying you all find peace in Jesus as you walk through the hard times of grief. Much love to you. 

Rest in peace Steve. You were one of the most Generous, Genuine people I've ever met. I have so many memories with you at Countless Snowball Derbies. The first weekend in December will not be the same without you! I know you and David are having a great time together!

We met Steve when our son began working at TM Ranch. Steve  always made us feel so welcome. Paul really enjoyed going out to watch when they  worked cattle. I am sorry I never got to meet him Sandy. All the stories you’ve told me about him I know he will live on in your memories and your families.

Boss, Bossman , Steve was a great friend that I got to know helping on David's TM Ranch race car. I had the utmost respect for Boss  the man he was and how he treated my family and me.  I will miss talking with Boss about racing and the ranch. Joe Yarborough

I was fortuinate to have met Mr. Holland several years ago. He commanded respect without ever asking for it. He made everyone around him try a little harder, stand a little taller. I believe God puts certain people in our lives to remind us of who we are and what we could become. He is referred to as "Boss" by many, but to me he will always be remembered as Mr. Holland. A man you would always address with a firm handshake and give your full attention to. I am a better human for having met this true American and will miss him.

Mark , Sandra and Family ; Patti and I are saddened to hear of the “Boss” ‘s passing . He has been a great influence on our and our son Tim’s lives and he will be greatly missed by all who know him . Our thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult journey.

Steve reminded me so much of my grandfather, his work ethic, his knowledge of doing the right thing and his strong character are forever ingrained in my memory. Steve was very generous to me and to all others. There have been many times that with his generosity I was able to put presents under the Christmas tree for my family. Godspeed my friend, I will forever remember you!


Steve, when I first met you I was terrified of you. You were this larger than life man who yelled at me for speeding up your driveway. I soon learned that first impressions are not always accurate.  You were a kind and generous man. I am so fortunate and blessed to have met you and become not only a part of your family but also a friend. You will always hold a special place in my heart and I will miss you and our annual Christmas hug.

Thank you for the memories BOSS. Your  support and dedication will forever be remembered by the ones that mattered. 

Catch you on the flip-side my friend. I’ll quit being such a ***** now. 

He was my father, mentor, boss and hero, but most of all he was my friend! He was a great person who helped guide me through life to this point and I now hope that I can take the knowledge and wisdom he gave me and apply it to the rest of my life. 
He taught me many great life lessons. My most memorable one was about responsibility and work ethic. One Saturday when I was in high school, some of my friends were going fishing. I wanted to go. I was telling him about it and he said "that sounds like fun". I though great! As I was walking away he said "Don't forget, the horses eat at 4:00".  I didn't go fishing. I stayed home and did my job as he had taught me to do. 
To his many friends and loved ones who have reache out to me, I thank you!
Big Boy, you will be missed. In my eyes no one will be able to fill your shoes!

Steve was more than just my employer,he and I were friends for many years. Long before I started working for him ! He was such a caring and generous person .Steve was more like a father !
I will dearly miss our conversations !

Was such an amazing man that made many memories and laughs.  Tim respected and looked up to this man as a role model.

Made us all smile.  Many many laughs for all!!!  Tim looked at him as role model and had many memories as “boss” had that effect on people.

The Boss was one of the greatest men I’ve ever known. His contributions to law enforcement and his generosity to others were endless.  I can think of no other family that has done more to contribute to the wellness and safety of our public servants than the Holland family. Over the past three decades, Steve has welcomed thousands of police officers and military veterans to his ranch, and he’s treated us all to more rewards than were ever earned. There are many, many people who are heartbroken by his passing.  We are all fortunate to have known him and benefited from his generosity. Perhaps his greatest gift to us all is leaving his son Mark to fill his boots.  Mark’s own character and reputation will carry Steve’s legacy of serving others for many more years. 
I am blessed to have called the Boss my good friend, and will always be thankful for the generosity he showed to me and my father.   Thank you, Boss.  I will miss you. 

Although I never had the pleasure to personally meet Mr. Holland, I have always had huge respect for him and his family. We at Hometown Heroes Alliance are very saddened by his lost and keep the entire family in our prayers. Law Enforcement will miss this giant of a man and huge supporter but shall never forget all he has done for our brothers and sisters in the blue family. 
Gods speed sir and until we meet at the gates you shall always be in our thoughts and prayers.

First I would like to share my condolences to the family.  I first met Mr Holland (Steve) at the TM Ranch as a Orlando Police Officer, I was invited out several times for hog hunting, rounding up cattle.  There is no better people in this world than the Holland family. Mark and Steve were both very supportive and friends to the police.  I always felt like I was at home around them.  I will always count knowing Mr Holland and Mark one of life’s blessings.  Rest In Peace Mr. Holland.

So sorry for your loss, it's never easy. He was an amazing person and so kind to everyone. He will be missed - Hugs, Teddy and Nancy
