Jerry Dale Phillips went home to be with the Lord Feb 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father Conard V Phillips, his mother Lorena Plunkett, brother Conard V Phillips II, and son Jacob Trevor Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Judith Phillips, daughter Sheryl (Larry) Evans, sons Gerald (Jody) Halstead, Jay Halstead, Conard Phillips III, Ron (Debi) Tawney, Joshua Phillips. He has 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, one brother Joe (Lesley) Phillips and one sister Sue (Jack) Clark. We all take comfort in the fact that we will see his dimpled smile and receive a giant hug at the gates of heaven. He certainly received a triumphant entry into the kingdom and is passionately praising the king, as he did so beautifully in life.
Jerry’s greatest joy in life was time with his wife and precious family. He was fearlessly affectionate and left all his friends and family with no doubt that he loved us. Of all the many gifts and talents he was blessed with none were greater than his huge heart. Jerry thrived on relationship and focused his time on building into people and telling them about Jesus.
We found this verse in his wallet and believe he lived it!
If we love one another, God’s Love is in us and His love is perfected in us. I John 4:12
