To my brother, Jim. We had our ups and downs growing up, but I guess all brothers go through that. Over the last 20 years we grew closer than anyone would believe.  We shared our triumphs and our heartaches. You helped me in so many ways. Spiritually, emotionally,  financially and more. You never asked or accepted anything in return. You helped me grow as a brother, a husband, a father, a son and a man. I will continue to try and be the person you were helping me to become.  I miss you so much and cry everyday. But I will hold my head high and put others needs before my own. Mom passed away only a few short weeks after you and I know you were there to greet and comfort her when she entered the kingdom of God. I can feel you in my heart and I thank you. You helped so many people in your life, but none as much as me. I will always love you.

Rest in peace my friend, for God has found you again to live in his salivation forever and ever

Lori, we have not met, but Jim and I worked together for many years at Global 360 in North America and then in Sweden.  I joined Clear Cadence, primary because of Jim's invitation to work together again.
Jim and I talked frequently.  He raved about your European trip, the fun you had, and the shared memories that you will always have.  May these memories bring you some joy during these difficult times.

I am so sorry for your loss.  It has been some time since I had seen or spoken with Jim, but the entire Conklin family is always in my thoughts and prayers.  Jim will truly be missed.

Jim, I will really miss you. Even though you lived all the way in Florida, it felt like you lived down the street because of all our  discussions on Facebook, and by reading about your adventures with Lori. I secretly enjoyed our political debates, and I will miss them and you. Rest in peace, my friend.

Jim, I remember you as a baby and as a child.  I didn't know the teenager but I knew the man you became.  I can't express in words the loss of such a funny, loving, family man. Jim, you found it in your heart to pay tribute to my father and Mom's husband when you buried his obituary on Omaha Beach in Normandy,France. He fought for our freedom and proudly served as you did also. It was truly a shock to hear of your passing. The Good Lord knows that your job on earth was done, but he has other work for you to do in Heaven. May God hold your wife, Mother and Father and family in the palm of His hands and wrap His arms around them to bring them comfort in their time of need. You will be missed terribly and never forgotten.  <3

"J.C" as he was known in a very close knit group of friends deemed the "Brotherhood" will be deeply missed. My memories and life growing tales with Jim date back as far as junior high school.  I am proud to have shared several chapters of our lives together. Jim and all his family members will be in my prayers for peace.

To my good friend and business associate Jim:  We are so, so sad and heartbroken with your passing-on  words  simply cannot describe. As you remember we discussed quite often, our two skills were very complimentary and that's what helped you and I excel. You will be greatly missed, however, I know you well and know you will still somehow find ways from above  to help influence our continued success - we just simply need to pay attention and look for the signs.

I know you heard me talking to you on my back Porch all day Tuesday trying to understand. The "what if's" in my mind may never go away. It was my watch. To the entire Conklin Family. I am truly sorry for this unfortunate loss. I was a high school classmate, and reunited with Jim via Facebook. I was able to meet up with him a couple of times in California, (Lance Austin's house and our last class reunion) and had the best laughs and friendship while he was here. I will miss the texting in regards to his favorite Redskins football team, and my NY Giants. Unfortunately, they both are having a terrible season so far... Jim, you will be greatly missed by all... Rest well my friend!

Jim, you were perhaps the smartest man I have ever known!  You were a great coworker and friend.  You will be missed by the old SunTrust and Northland gangs. I am truly saddened by the loss we all feel because of the void that now exists.  In 1 Thessalonians 5:18 it tells us "In all things give thanks..." 
and although this doesn't seem to always make sense I am giving thanks today.  Not thanks for the loss of a friend but instead, today I am... 

  thankful that I had the opportunity to know you,
  thankful that I got to call you colleague and friend,
  thankful for your service to our country,
  thankful for your generosity to others,
  thankful for the arguments we had about work,
  thankful for the laughs we shared,
  thankful that you were loved by so many,
  thankful for a God who loved you enough to offer you the gift of salvation,
  thankful that you were humble enough to accept that gift, and
  thankful that this is not GOODBYE, it is simply SEE YOU LATER !

Jim, you were a good friend who will be missed.  I always admired the way that you projected confidence and professionalism when we were on the job, but could easily let loose at a personal level.  Rest in peace!
