He was born July 19, 1936 in Forsyth County to the late Chestney Lane Eubanks, Sr. and Adella Lee Grubbs Eubanks. He was a Christian man who loved doing woodwork. He had retired from US Air with over 30 years of service, and was a member of Robinhood Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Derek Eubanks of Greensboro, daughter, Adele Wilson of Arkansas and grandson, Zac (Petra) Wilson; his dear sister, Pat Eubanks Highfill; brothers and sisters-in law, Otis (Linda) , Dickie, and Larry (Shannon) Eubanks; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Eubanks was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 65 years, Fran, and his granddaughter, Allisabeth Wilson.
The family wants to thank Joyce Miller for the wonderful care of Chess during this time.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
There will be no formal visitation. A service will be held on Saturday, January 13th at 1pm at
Volgers Funeral and Cremations at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3815 Yadkinville Road in Winston
Salem.
