Terri Lee Dowhy

She will be sadly missed by her husband, William Dowhy; daughter, Rachael Grace Dowhy; son, Robert Lyle Dowhy; grandmother, Alice Lindal; mother, Loretta Clarke; sisters, Sandra Watson (Dennis), Lorraine Kaus (Tyson) and Catherine Plett (Richie); step-mother, Eileen Clarke; step-sister, Alysha Buck (Andrew); step-brother, Andrew Clarke; as well as many nieces and nephews. Terri was predeceased by her father, Robert Lyle Clarke.

Terri spent her youth in Lynn Lake, Manitoba and enjoyed all the activities it had to offer. She also participated in many activities through school and church; there was nothing Terri would not try. Terri graduated high school at Balmoral Hall School in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

After graduation Terri continued her love of life, never afraid to try new things. She enjoyed her careers, managing women’s clothing stores, flight attending and more recently working in private school administration.

In 2000 Terri’s husband, William's career as a pilot moved them and their two children to Bahrain. Terri came home to Canada every summer with Rachael and Rob to spend time with family and friends. When in Canada, Terri made sure to shop, visit family and spend time at the lake. One of Terri’s greatest joys were her children, she was always eager to share stories of their accomplishments, or even something as simple as their dinners together. Terri will be remembered by all who knew her for her infectious smile and her kind and fun loving spirit.

Funeral Services for Terri will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
