My memory goes way back to Sioux Lookout where we had canasta night at her place or ours . Enjoyed many a great time with her. Fortunately I reconnected with her in Winnipeg several years ago. Where I enjoyed lunch and chit chat. She was a grand lady and I miss her visits. And yes she sure talked about her great family. Unfortunately I can not make the celebration of life as I have just moved to Edmonton 

Sherry worked for me as an LPN at Park Manor for many years before she retired. Not only was she a wonderfully caring and competent nurse, she was also a dynamo of energy! My HCAs would  surely agree that when she was on duty she would complete many extra tasks like cleaning and organizing resident’s closets and inspire everyone to do more for our residents each day. 
I’m sure staff will also remember how much she “enjoyed “ having me take her picture. NOT!  But always a good sport about it. After her retirement I would see her In our neighborhood and marvel at the projects she said she  was working on with her kids and grandkids. Such energy and love for her family!
So, a diagnosis of ALS for such an active person was all the more devastating. 
My wife and I send our condolences and prayers to all the family, and we know that Sherry’s legacy will live on. 

Dear family members of Sherry, I was so saddened to learn of Sherry's passing.  I  exercised at The Forks with Sherry for many years... in fact most of the time we were side by side.  I remember a very independent  Sherry so full of life and determination.   She expressed her intention to keep fighting ALS  to the end and I am sure she did.  She also expressed her desire to live in her home and not leave to life elsewhere and so she did, with your assistance. Please accept my sincere sympathies and prayers.

Sherry and I became friends at our exercise class at the Forks.   Sherry was always so full of energy, together we walked and talked before each class.   I will miss you Sherry, Rest In Peace, my friend.   Sending heartfelt condolences to her beloved daughters and family.

I worked with Sherry at Park Manor Nursing Home. A great and dedicated co worker. In our retirement years I have good memories of Sherry and Helen coming over for a fun game of canasta and visiting. 
Treasure your memories with mum and grandma. 

Sherry looked after my mom while at Park Manor & was there when she passed.  I remember her as a loving, always smiling, compassionate lady. 

Sherry was my dear friend from Elm Creek. We did a lot of things together as well as being in the same grade throughout our school years. Condolences to the family. 

You were one of the most real people I have ever met. Very kind but always honest. You could always count on you to be there if somebody needed you. You will be greatly missed.

I only met Sherry about seven years ago when we did Scottish dancing together. We hit it of and became good friends sharing outings, meals, gardening stories etc. Coming from similar backgrounds, there never seemed to be a shortage for conversation.
Sherry was a “ball of fire,” she just could never sit still. Many a time I said I’d tie her down so she could just sit!! 
It was a very sad day knowing of Sherry's diagnoses, I’m certain she fought it like a trooper.
“He” now has another beautiful Angel running around with the duster and mop.
Rest In Peace my friend.

We always valued  the friendship we had with Sherry.  We  lost contact after she moved from Sioux Lookout but thought of her often.  
Our condolences  to Tammy and Tracy.  She  will be missed by so many but we will always have so many fond memories.

Sherry I will miss our talks over the fence.  You were such an amazing person.  To the family I send you all my deepest condolences.

It is devastating to hear of your passing. You were so kind to me and treated me as one of your own. I remember you taking me on adventures when I lived in Winnipeg so I didn’t feel alone. You had such a huge heart which you passed on to your family.  I’m grateful to have had you in my life for that time.
