Mom loved to travel, volunteer and spend time with the “Coffee Girls” from Seven Oaks. She had many lifelong friends who meant the world to her. She loved her sorority sisters and enjoyed their activities together.
Some of her favourite times were spent out and about with her longtime friends Enid, Karen, Shirley, Linda, Lorna, Marilyn, Myrna, Jeanette, and Stacey. She will be especially missed by her good friend Carol from Saskatoon. Sister friend Aline from Sudbury.
Myrna’s family meant the world to her. Her life centered around her children. She supported us always and carried us through many difficult times. She was always a phone call away. She was our rock. It will be difficult without you mom, but your spirit lives on within us. You will be forever missed but never forgotten. We love you mom.
The family would like to acknowledge the Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Aids on the 5th floor (Medicine) at the Grace Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Your kindness and dedication help carry us through a very difficult time.
Mom mentioned to us several times how comfortable and grateful she was to be at the Grace Hospital under your care.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday September 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
