Suddenly on Friday Feb 25, 2011 Joyce Wold passed away at the age of 59.
Left to mourn her passing are her family that meant the world to her, son Trevor (Deanna), daughter Andrea (Jason), son Aaron, grandchildren Jordan and Danica, mother in law Marjorie, sisters Shirley and Eleanor, brother Hughie (Rosie) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband Brian of 41 years, her mother and father Doris and Louie, father in Law Clarence and her brother in law Larry.
Joyce was a one of a kind woman with such a zest for life! Over the past 25 years Joyce was employed as a make-up artist in the film industry where she had countless friends and associates who will miss her dearly. She enjoyed her job thoroughly and was well respected in her field. It was in Joyce’s high school years where she met Brian - the love of her life, shortly after meeting they started a family and built an amazing life together. They spent every weekend of the summer at their cottage in Lake of the Woods where they would welcome everyone with open arms. The cottage was always full of family and friends and there was never a shortage of drinks or food. Joyce absolutely loved and adored her close knit group of girlfriends and looked forward to “girls’ night” every Wednesday night where they would dance the night away or maybe decide to take on a some kind of renovation project. Anything could happen on girls night! Joyce was a loving wife, amazing mother, doting grandmother, loyal friend and anyone who knew her would agree that she had a spitfire personality and was a ton of fun to be around.
