Derek Roy Robinson

DEREK ROY ROBINSON March 25, 1986 - August 22, 2014 Derek Roy Robinson passed away in his home on August 22, 2014, surrounded by love. Gene and Linda Thompson were privileged to be his forever family since March 2, 2000. He is survived by them and his long time foster sister, Marie Robinson, since 1993. Other siblings include Aryus Gena Thompson, Jesse Brown (Megan), Kerry Kohat (Jeremy), Kelly Hanson, Brenton Thompson, Nicholas Thompson (Deneen), Donovan Thompson (Elisha), Shawn Thompson (Lina) and Tammy Vig. Derek was also well loved by his aunts Marie Hubka, Roleen Girouard (Charlie), Carol Magnussen (Don), Sherrill Mclean, Eugene Thompson (Cynthia); and Gramma Doreen Thompson. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins, were the many very special people who cared for Derek over the years. Anyone who worked with Derek was quickly drawn into his happy heart. We are all better people for having known Derek. He was a positive soul with a heart melting smile. Special thanks goes to all his doctors and teachers over the years and also the Palliative Care Program.
