Kathy was 83 years old and in her 63rd year of marriage to her beloved husband Jack. God blessed them with 3 children; Jack (Lisa) Hetzel, Ronald (Victoria) Hetzel and Heidi (Kim) Larsen. Oma to 11 grandchildren; Kirsten (Mike) Latimer, Andrew (Brooklyn) Hetzel, Roni (Michael-Anthony) Ferrato, Joel (Tanya) Bierer, Philip (Brigitte) Hetzel, Ryan Bierer, Laura (Mike) Short, Haley (Bojan) Sever, Steven Bierer, Anna (Jason) Bone and Kylee Larsen. Omi to 7 great-grandchildren; Luke, Isabella, Jackson, Logan, Rose, Levi and Erin. Kathy was born and baptized in 1941 in a German Village, Kapetanovo, Croatia. She immigrated in 1955 from Germany. Dear sister to the late Hans Ellenberger (2023) (Margaret) and sister to Franz Ellenberger (Katharine). Daughter of the late Johann & Adele Ellenberger. Kathy was a Sunday school teacher at Christ Lutheran Church in Harrow and a long-time member of First Lutheran Church in Windsor where she sang in the German choir. Many thanks to the staff at the Windsor Cancer Clinic and the Hospice of Windsor for their support and great care given to Kathy and our family. Donations may be made to First Lutheran Church or First Lutheran Christian Academy. Visiting Monday November 4, 2024 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 895 Ouellette Ave., Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Tuesday, family and friends are invited to meet at First Lutheran Church, 160 Giles Blvd. W. after 10 am for further visiting until the time of service at 11am. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens.
