76 years. Passed away peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Late of Chatham, Ontario. Beloved wife of Peter Meyers. Dear mother of Arlene Cote & her husband Roger, Carol Meloche & her late husband Brian, Tommy Siverns and his wife Sheila, Scott Meyers-Pillon and Brenda Meyers. Loving grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Monica Hildebrand & her husband Borden, the late Mary Jane Robinson, Gerald Spatz & his wife Marie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Irene was a Cub Scout Leader for many years, coached boys and girls youth baseball and worked with handicapped children in the Sarnia area. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Ave (519) 254-3223 on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 6-8 p.m., with a prayer service following in the Anderson Chapel.
