Patty J Sims, age 50, of Statham, GA passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. She was a graduate of Oconee County High School. Patty was a faithful member of Cornerstone Christian Church. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. She enjoyed shopping and traveling and playing games on her tablet. Patty loved her cats, Smokey and Allie.
Patty is survived by her parents, Donald Sims of Hull and Debbie and Hal Tapp of Winder; her children: David Clem of Winder and Rachel Clem of Statham; brother, Jason (Deanne) Sims of Hartwell; step-sister, Debra (Scott) Cox of Warner Robins; niece, Abigail Boykin; and nephew, Harper Sims.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA on Monday, October 30 from 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 31 at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel, with Rev. Hal Tapp officiating. The burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park in Watkinsville.
