Joyce Mobley McElhannon

Joyce Ann Mobley McElhannon of Bethlehem, age 76, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Larue Connor Mobley and her daughter Annette Herndon. Mrs. McElhannon was a member of the Church at Winder.

Mrs. McElhannon is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Jerry McElhannon. She is also survived by her son Tim (Jeanette) McElhannon and son-in-law Harold Herndon, all also of Bethlehem. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters: Emmalene Murphy of Winder, Jackie Kirkland of Loganville, and Brenda Hammond of Winder; grandchildren: Weston (Rachel) Herndon, Christopher (Maegan) Herndon, and Annie Grace McElhannon; and great-grandchildren: Lilly Herndon and Nicholas Herndon.

Funeral Services for Mrs. McElhannon will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Smith Memory Chapel. A visitation for family and friends will be at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, August 31, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Officiating the service will be Steve Ray and Donnie Pennington.
