Mrs. Joanne R. Morgan, age 83, of Winder, GA, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015. She was a member of the Winder First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Hugh R. Morgan, Sr.; her two sons, Hugh R. Morgan, Jr. and wife Donna of Athens, and Joe Morgan and wife Lavonda of Winder: her two daughters, Beth and Chris Head of Hawkinsville, GA, and Mandy and Chris Smith of Winder; and brother J.D. Robinson of Commerce, GA. She is also survived by grandchildren: Stacey Smith, Kelly Lord, Benjamin Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Vincent Morgan, Stephan Morgan, Cayla Morgan, Eric Vickers, Morgan Harvey, and Cody Smith, as well as 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Smith Memory Chapel, with Rev. Larry Rary officiating. Visitation with family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Winder First United Methodist Church Children's Ministry.
