Jeffrey "Jeff" William Newell

Jeffrey William Newell age 62 of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021. He was a native of Struthers, OH and a graduate of Struthers High School. Jeff was of the Christian faith and loved his family. He was a carpenter and a superintendent for PPI Construction.

Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbi Puskas Newell. He is survived by his parents, Art and Marcia Hewitt Newell of Struthers, OH; two sons, Rick Newell (Lizzie) of Monroe and Matthew Newell of Monroe; two daughters, Jenna Newell of Winder and Michele Parker (Gene) of Winder; four brothers, Doug Newell of Hubbard, OH, John Newell (Lisa) of Key West, FL, Brian Newell of Cumming and Tim Newell (Noreen) of Waxhaw, NC; a sister-in-law, Barbara Newell of Lawrenceville; two sisters, Diane Newell-Repasky of Stow, OH and Debbie Vaughn (Martin) of Ashland City, TN; 10 grandchildren: Courtney, J.J., Taylor, Devin, Chase, Bri, D.J., Layney, Maddy and Marley and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 24, 2021 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. John Burchfield Officiating. Interment will follow in Hoschton City Cemetery.
