Charles A. Luke, 69, passed away Friday, November 17, 2024. He was a lifetime resident of Statham and a graduate of Winder-Barrow High School. Charles was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church. He spent his life as a poultry and cattle farmer. Charles was a member of the Statham American Legion and the Winder Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ethelene Hammond Luke and a stepson, Shane Casper. Charles is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cynthia Dunahoo Luke of Statham; stepson, Brent Casper; step-grandson, Damen Casper; and brother, Edward Luke.
A Celebration of Charles’s Life will be held at 4PM Sunday, November 24, 2024 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. The family will receive friends from 1PM until service time at the funeral home.
