Billy Ray Lovin, age 85, passed away on September 25, 2022. Billy was the son of the late Dewey and Mattie Higgins Lovin. Billy was was employed by GM for 33 years and retired as an inspector. Billy is preceded in death by Edwin Lovin and Francis Beddingfield. Billy was a member of Winder First United Methodist Church and was a 1956 Winder Barrow Graduate.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Sarah Morrow Lovin; daughter, Pam Lovin; brother, Louis Lovin; and sisters, Charlotte (Jess) Brown and Violet (Pete) Mobley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Smith Memory Chapel at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
