He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Henry, mother, Etta Clemmons Henry, and brothers, Floyd Henry Jr., Clyde Henry, and Walter Neil Henry.
Bill was a true entrepreneur and businessman. He entered into many different business opportunities over the years, giving each one his all. His last and final project was L.A. Lube Oil Change and Car Repair, where he was owner and operator. Aside from his business endeavors, Bill was an accomplished pilot. He loved to tell stories of taking his friends flying in his Cessna planes. One of Bill’s favorite things to do was travel. He and his long-time companion, Connie, would pack up the dogs and set off in their car and travel across country for weeks at the time. Whether these trips were to visit family or just see the sights, these road trips were an important part of who Bill was. He enjoyed reliving the trips and telling stories of the events that happened along the way. His family and friends are grateful to hold on to these stories and will cherish the memories.
Bill is survived by his companion of 33 years, Connie Campfield, daughter, Robyn McDonald, granddaughter Hailey Denzer (Lucas), grandsons Brandon Kinzie (Chelsea) and Carter Obney, great-granddaughters Natalya and Mikayla Kinzie, bonus daughters, Wanda Anderson (Jason) and Carol Hedrick (Glen), bonus grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, and Rachel Hedrick and Samantha Anderson, and of course, his beloved fur babies, Girly, Cody, Rusty and Molly.
The family wishes to thank Jenny Currin, his helper in his final days, Visiting Angels, and Lower Cape Fear Hospice. A special thank you to Dr. Belle and his staff for the love and support given to Bill throughout his journey with cancer.
