In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Sikes; son, Gary Sikes; grandson, Gary Sikes, Jr.; brothers: John Frink and Bryan Frink and sister Connie Dennis.
Mrs. Sikes was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a woman dedicated to her faith. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and baking.
She is survived by her daughters: Shirley Budd of Beulaville, NC and Phyllis Murray and husband George of Leland, NC; son Barry Sikes and wife Maureen of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren: Curt Budd, Kelly Batts and husband Chuck, Chris Murray , Misty Pelliciotta and husband Rob, Clint Sikes and wife Christine, Paula Linder and husband Heath, Mandy McCormick and husband Brett, Jeffrey Sikes, Jr. and wife Crystal and Mason Sikes and wife Elana; 18 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1828 S. 16th Street Wilmington, NC. Burial will be private.
