She was born in San Francisco, CA on January 25, 1945.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Rowland Plant and Dorothy Eleanor Michel Plant.
Marilyn enjoyed working as a PTA President at College Park Elementary School, performed administrative support roles within New Hanover County Schools. She was an active member of St Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church including being on the Stephen Ministry Team and spend time with family and Friends.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Ray Wilson; sons, Chris Wilson and his wife Amanda Wilson and Ken Wilson; granddaughters, Kathleen Harris and Alyssa Wilson; sister, Sue Britt and her husband Nelson Britt; brother, Craig Lieber.
Visitation will be held on July 1, 2022 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at St Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 612 College Road, Wilmington, NC 28403.
Funeral Service will start at 1:00pm with Pastor Samuel Zumwalt officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
