Jackie M. Shaw

He was born in Hoke County on July 12, 1935, son of the late Lonnie Stamp Shaw and Mary Jackson Shaw. Addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Clemon Shaw.

Jackie served his country in the Army for four years. After his service, he continued working as a Police Officer for the Carolina Beach Police Department for a few years. Then continued working as a Law Enforcement for the Wilmington Police Department for 32 years until his retirement

Jackie is survived by his son, Jodi M. Shaw and his wife, Tammy Shaw; lovely granddaughter, Jenna Shaw; daughter, Susan Brundage and her husband, Steve Brundage; and his children, Alexis Brundage, Steven Basinger and Adam Brundage.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Coble ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church, 1700 Midway Rd SE, Bolivia, NC 28422. Military Honors will follow with the Wilmington Police Honor Guard officiating.
