She was born August 9, 1926 in Florida to Troy and Janie Woodcock who preceded her in death.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Janie Bailey of Myrtle Beach, SC, Rhonda Sykes of Winnabow, NC, and Suzanne (Bill) Shropshire of Germantown, NC; 2 sisters: Dedie Sloan of Chinquapin, NC and Daphne Nobles (Donald) of Raleigh, NC; 3 grandsons: Curtis Bailey (Teresa), Shane Sykes, and Steven Bailey (Patrice); 3 great grandsons: Hunter, Garrick and Landon and one great great grandson: Denton.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409 with Pastor Pete Mata officiating.
