Dear Sheila & family,
I am so saddened to hear of Dominick’s passing.  
I remember him fondly and the laughs we shared with Barb and Russ.  You are all in my thoughts.

We got to know Dominick and Shiela as neighbors in North Carolina.  Despite our nearly two-decade age gap, Dominick was the center of energy – a person of incredible personality and vivaciousness. Dominick led our quest to discover a new restaurant to dine out in on a regular basis.  So long as we were with Dominick, it did not matter if our food was delayed – Dominick always had a story to share.  However, more than food, he loved his family.  The family was always on his mind.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Sheila and the family during this difficult time.   

Chickie and I were so saddened to hear of Dominick’s passing.  We got to know both Dominick and Sheila at the US Open VIP Event hosted by Citizen over the years.  He had the ability to make everyone smile when he entered a room.    His storytelling was second to none and there were times he made us laugh so hard our stomachs ached.  He was a true gentleman, family man and had a heart of gold.  Our hearts and prayers go out to Sheila and their family.

My deepest condolences to the Sorresso family and friends. I worked with Dominick at Rogers and Hollands for 21 years. He was a great Manager that was so patient. He was willing to listen and was always there to help us whenever we needed him. I was amazed at the way his mind worked. I can't think of anything he couldn't fixed.   He had the most infectious smile and wonderful sense of humor. We lost someone very special, and he will forever be missed.
My heart and prayers go out to his beautiful family. Thank you for sharing him with us!



Deepest condolences to all of Dominic’s family. I played golf with him on many occasions in Chicago. When my ICD that restarts my heart went off, Dominic made sure that I was ok and helped get me off the course. I will never forget him. RIP my friend.

Dominick was a splendid and inspiring person of great integrity who left a huge impact on everyone he met. He will be missed, and remembered fondly by us all.  He would bring a dynamic energy to our meetings which would always last a few hours despite trying to keep to an agenda.  He had this contagious energy and jovial spirit which always made everyone around him feel good. His spirit & impact will be felt greatly in the hearts by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.  I am truly sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of playing golf with Dom for many years.  He was not only a good golfer, but he had an infectious personally that always made the golf game more interesting and fun.  He was consistently upbeat and positive, on good days and bad.  His positive attitude in the face of a serious illness is emblematic of the strength of his character.  No one fought their illness harder than Dom.  I am saddened by his loss, but the memories I have of Dom are all happy, positive ones.

Dear family of Dom.  
I met Dom for the first time on CFN golf course, and immediately liked him.  He was infectious with his great smile and friendly demeaner.  After a noticed absence from the course, when he came back we talked about his illness, and he was confident that he would beat it.  I am very saddened to learn that it didn't happen.  I/we  will ALL miss Don.

To my beloved Sorresso Family,
I was devastated to hear about the loss of Mr. Sorresso. I am so blessed and honored to have known the amazing man that is a father to my best friend Danielle. He had a special way of lighting up the entire room. When i met him and Mrs. Sorresso, they made me feel like apart of their family. He loved his family more than anything in this world and it was very evident especially during his last days.  He will be incredibly missed by everyone that knew him. I love you guys so much.



My wife Sheila and I are very sorry to hear of Dominick's passing.
He was a true gentleman of our industry, loyal friend/colleague, and greatly respected by all.
We will continue to cherish the many memories and wonderful times we shared with both Sheila and Dom.

Ed and I are so sadden to hear of Dominick's untimely passing. He was a geat guy with a kind heart. I have many fond memories of work meetings over the past 20 years with him but I didn't really get to know him and Sheila until we attended the Citizen VIP events. It was at those events we found out that we shared a common childhood of growing up on the streets of  Queens, New York. He may have moved to Chicago and then on to North  Carolina but he embodied the heart, soul and spirit of a true New Yorker.  May his memory be a blessing to all of you.

My husband Tom and I have had the pleasure of knowing Dom and Sheila for only a short time, but it didn't take long to realize what down-to-earth, fun-loving, warm-hearted people they were.  The first time we spend any time with them was when we got seated with them for dinner after a golf outing.  When we realized that we were all from the Chicago area, it was like old home week.  They made us feel so comfortable.  Dom will surely be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.  Sheila, we're here for you.  

He was a man Larger than Life. To know him was to be lucky enough to experience pure joy in his presence.  There are not enough words to express how special he was, nor to say how much he will be missed.

Dominick was my brother in law and very good friend. He was the most amazing husband to Sheila and father to his 3 children. He was the funniest person I ever met. He could entertain everyone he met with his wit and humor. You loved the guy the minute you met him. Since leaving Chicago in 2005 I often thought of him and how much fun we used to have. He was so kind to me after I retired and I will never forget him.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I have so many fond memories of our times together in Chicago.  Dominick will be missed by anyone who knew him.  He was a one-of-a-kind, wonderful person.  
He called me about a year ago to tell me about your move and it was so good to catch up.
Having gone thru this with Ed, I know how difficult it is.  Just remember all the wonderful memories and hopefully that will sustain you during this difficult time.
