In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Ray Skipper Sr. and her daughter, Pamela Knowles; brothers: Lee Chestnut and Buddy Chestnut and sister Marilyn Craver.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters: Brenda Owens and husband, Richard of Hampstead, Angie Aurgemma and husband Louis of Harrells, North Carolina; and son Ray Skipper and wife Patty of Leland, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Amanda Kraynick, Chris Aurgemma, Jason Flockhart, Trey Owens,
Hayley Skipper and Krysta Knowles; six great grandchildren; sister Margaret Eady of Leland; brother Cecil Chestnut and wife Joanne of Leland.
The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm on December 19, 2023 at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The Funeral will follow at 2pm with Billy Flockhart officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
