Carmela "Millie" Castellano Maritato, age 89, of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 28, 1934, to Angelo Castellano and Carmela Camoia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Maritato.

Millie is survived by her daughter, Andrea Johnson, and husband Paul, and her granddaughter, Alexandra. She was loved and adored by family, friends, and neighbors.

A Funeral Mass will be held on March 1, 2024, at Saint Therese Catholic Church, 209 S. Lumina Avenue, Wrightsville Beach, NC at 12:00 Noon.
