I'm a friend of Alfred's eldest daughter, Teresa. She has told myself and Tammie, a close mutual friend, so much about this wonderful man. I feel like I know him both from what she has shared about him and from who she is. It's beautiful to see how his positive character and influence live on his daughter, grandson and great-granddaughters. Gone from here is not gone forever because love never dies. My deepest condolences to friends and family.

Aunt Lizzie and family, Our hearts are heavy with sadness for the loss of Uncle Alfred. I remember all the happy times and laughs we always shared. If your spirits ever needed to be lifted he was always the one to do it. I loved to hear him share stories of us when we were kids and hear his hearty laugh. He may not be walking this earth now but he is always with us in our hearts and minds. He now has a new body and will not be suffering. We pray God will give strength to all of you... We love you.

I will miss Uncle Alfred's sense of humor. Anytime we were together, we were  laughing. He was the best Uncle. Having him in my life was a true blessing.
