Hilda Peterson, nee Bartel, 92. Beloved wife of the late Arthur; devoted mother of Jeanine (Tom) Heck and Christine Peterson; treasured grandmother of Maureen (Martin) Marrandino, Evan Parker, April Parker, Maren (Ray) Lee, and Peter Lyngso; proud great-grandmother of Cyrus and Penny Marrandino; dear sister of Loys (James) Ronchetto, Thomas (Barb) Bartel, and the late Rosemary (Ado) Mobley; loving aunt and great-aunt of many. Hilda was a talented seamstress. She loved all forms of art, culture, and music. She was an avid reader and learner until the very end. She was a beloved employee at Glenview Public Library for many years. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2 PM at Glenview Public Library, 1930 Glenview Rd, Glenview. Interment private. Contributions in Hilda's memory may be made to Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center, www.fairhaven.cc
