My condolences to the family.  I learned a lot working at Shepard Chevrolet.  George was an active owner, full of energy and a hard worker.  He will be missed.

To my my best friend Randi to lorraine ,marcy., cathy, David and the entire extended family I am sorry that your journey with George has come to an end. At the same time, I realize how grateful you must be to have had this time with him as he was an Extraordinary dad husband grandpa and grest grandpa.
I've known George since I was a little girl. I can honestly say that of all the people 
 I've met In my life , he is one of the top 5 nicest people I've ever encountered on this Earth. Never a bad word for anybody, always understanding and pleasant.,If not joyful.  It is an honor to have known & loved him .
 He was an inspiration as a human being.  To everyone that met him.
 Just being in his presence gave people optimism, knowing that a human being could be so  genuine.  with such a beautiful spirit, He will be missed, but he had a great life and he deserved every last second of love, happiness & prosperity..All my Love

Glen and I are saddened to hear of the passing of George.  Such a wonderful, kind man. We have many fond memories of George. He was like a second dad. You have been in our family for over 50 years.

My deepest sympathy to Mr Shepard's entire family. I feel blessed to have been a part of the Shepard Chevrolet family for over 17 years. He was a lovely man to work for. I have so many fond memories of him. His boundless energy, his wicked sense of humor, and his fairness always stood out. May he rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear of George’s passing.  He played a vital role in my development as a person and as an individual in the car business  .  Thoughts and prayers of healing to the entire Shepard family as you morn the loss.

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. He will be sorely missed, but I know you have so many happy memories of your dad. It was always such a pleasure when your father would show up at the studio for the two of you to play hooky and catch an afternoon game at Wrigley. You both were giddy, like little kids sneaking out of work to enjoy a Cubs game together.  Deepest Condolences to You, Georg, Charlie, Sofi and the rest of your family.

Dear Randi and family.  I'm so sorry for this sudden loss of your dad. I will say, George Shepard was always the kindest , the warmest and most loving  dad of all my friends dad's. .At least to me.  He always made me feel comfortable with his warm and welcoming smile. I always felt Randi was so lucky to have such a dad.  He was an ordinary  hero of sorts. A Kind Man! May his memory live in the hearts of all those that knew him and loved him.

I will never forget the most welcoming beautiful smile ever that I got from George when I saw him for the last time this summer when I visited a family gathering it was just heartwarming even though he was sick and bravely courageous   it showed what a wonderful man and father and family that he had he was blessed until the end I just thank God that I know the family and I'm grateful for all the love that they show everybody love from Aaliyah Kimmel
