Dr. Bruce W. Wessels passed away on Sunday April 7, 2024 at the age of 77.
He was a Walter P. Murphy Chair professor of Material Science and Engineering at Northwestern University who educated and touched so many people throughout his lifetime.
He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, daughter in law, son in law and eight wonderful grandchildren, whom he greatly adored. He is also survived by two brothers, two sisters in law, a brother in law, nieces, nephews and dear lifelong friends.
His impact will continue to echo through the lives of many for generations to come. May his passing be a reminder to us all, to live our lives with purpose, dedication and brotherhood just as he did.
