Teresa V. Puccio

Teresa V. (nee Santafemia) Puccio, of Williamsville, NY entered into rest on July 6, 2021 at age 90. Devoted mother of Gerard (Pam Szalay) Puccio, Francesca (Walter Embree) Puccio, Maria (late Jamie) Seman and Joanna Puccio; cherished grandmother of Gabriel Puccio, Anthony Puccio, Ben Morakis, Anna Venardi, Francesco (Katherine) Venardi, Matthew Seman, Andrew Seman and Roman Straub; loving daughter of the late Francesco and Grazia Santafemia; predeceased by two siblings; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Teresa was born on June 26, 1931 in New York City, NY. She was a long time resident of Erie, PA, and North East, PA where she raised her four children, and worked for PNC Bank until her retirement. Teresa wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. She tutored and mentored children in her community by serving as a Foster Grandparent through GECAC in Erie for well over a decade, and knitted baby beanies for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a local hospital. Teresa loved to read fiction books, enjoyed spending time on Presque Isle State Park in Erie, and treasured her time with friends and family playing games and eating good food. An accomplished home cook, food was her great passion in life. Teresa was a ten year breast cancer survivor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Teresa's life at PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221 on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 12-1:30pm.
