Here is a photo of the traditional opening ceremony key used during our annual 8 Ball League Fantasy Baseball Draft. Mike, you were a stand up friend and confidant. Taras was there, too. And Brother Greg.  All doing the drafts in baseball heaven now.  R.I.P., Mike.

Was thinking of Mike at his birthday time and was saddened to find this online while looking to see if you were still in the old hood. 
Briefly, I'll say that hanging with Mike and you felt like being with family. No higher compliment than family.  I'll never forget him.
RIP, my bro Mike  and also our bro Greg. The 2 June birthday guys.

Fly high with the angels Uncle Mike!  Keep watch over us all. You were an incredible, special person  filled with life and love for all those you touched. It was a blessing to be called your god daughter!  I will miss our Saturday breakfasts and our chats.  Words can never express how much you meant to me.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you and your families.  We have over 40 years of memories and so many experiences, that brought us together in faith and fun -filled times.   Mike always lived life to the max, and enjoyed it with a twinkle in his eye.  Sorry we can't be with you at this time.  You are in our prayers for comfort and peace.      God bless all of you.....

Mike had a very special way of bringing his light and love into any situation. Mike knew and loved The Lord, and he treasured his precious Marge, and their amazing children and grandchildren. I will forever be grateful for the gift of his friendship, and for every beautiful memory that was made over the years. I can clearly  hear his laughter, and feel his sincere bear hugs! Precious Mike, you truly brought all of us so much peace, love and great joy! Fly high, my dear friend.

Mike was my go-to coffee buddy on many Wednesdays during Jody’s Bible Study. We would talk and pray and laugh, and discuss how the Lord had guided us during the previous week. Whenever we couldn’t get together, I was adrift, wondering what I’d do for that hour. He was my best friend, and now he’s in heaven; another saint to intercede for me. I love you, Mike. Thank you for your brotherly love; a precious gift I will cherish always. Bart

I remember the day we were sneaker creeking. Mike slipped and was being carried down the creek at a rapid pace. The children were horrified and were screaming. Marge Joe and I were laughing. He wasn’t carried away and all turned out well. The only causality was to his ego.
