We are so very sorry for your loss. Mike was a wonderful man, loving and loyal husband, a fantastic father and a friend to all who knew him.  In the health challenges he was forced to deal with, he remained strong and courageous, never giving up. What a legacy to leave for those who knew him. Sandy, Jessica, Quinn and Dana.  I am so sorry for the loss of Michael, your husband and Dad.  He was such an incredible friend to me in high school. I remember  the first day I met him in Math class.   He asked to borrow a piece of paper.  After that day we became good friends.  He always had a smile or a joke for everyone.  I know how happy and proud of his family he was.   He will always be watching over all of you. Heaven gained another angel.  I asked my daughter to greet him at the gates of heaven to welcome him home. 

To the Porzio Family,  I cannot begin to tell you how devastated I was to hear of Mike's passing.  So many of my childhood memories include Mike ... summer days at Harlow Beach, our first rock concert at The Aud, playing street hockey with Mike using cushions from an old couch, drinking beers in the fort ... the list is endless.  Even though we lost touch over the years, the memories always remained.  He was a true friend and will always hold a place in my heart.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this difficult time.
