Forever young, forever beautiful, inside and out!

I had the pleasure to work with marie at williamsville schools she was always so cheery even in the toughest situations. I love that you did not have to bite your tounge around her and could speak you opinion without any backlash she will be truly missed

Dearest Marie – I knew something was not right when you did not answer my test messages and voicemail when we heard this news. It was a huge shock and now to find out so many did not know what you were going through. You may have chosen this way you were never one to want attention you were always the one giving to others. Caring for your husband, mom & brother and always being there for my mom and as Angela said you always gave your shoulder when needed. 
I have the very best memories of being with you with all the family, holidays or just a regular good old fashion Italian dinner just to be together. All the jaunts with Mom & you at the   nightclubs singing dancing and so many laughs! The greatest of times & our trip to Virginia Beach what a blast we had & also Danielle’s wedding what an amazing time!  As Mom would say “Gotta have a good time” & that you did. So many cherished memories that are held in our hearts forever. 
You had many hard times however you always had the most amazing sense of humor, always positive & happy & always there when someone needed you. 
All I can say is you are at peace once again with your loving husband Ernesto, your mom Aunt Rosie brothers Dominic, Michael, Anthony & my mom Mary Jane – who cherished you – everyone cherished you. You are with the best of the best up there in heaven & those of us left behind will keep you with us 
in our hearts & memories as we have been truly blessed for having such an amazing special person in our lives

I am saddened at the loss of Marie. She was a colleague and friend for many years at Williamsville East High School.She was always a strong  positive presence for the students , much loved. Fortunately, although I had retired, I did connect a few times. She didn’t change. Always happy, wanting things to be better, for everyone.

Marie no words can express the shock I and I’m sure so many felt when we all go the news of your passing. You were such a big, huge part of my life growing up. You even made all the cookies for my daughter’s wedding and flew all the way to Las Vegas to be there for her special day, this memory I will always cherish. I can also remember all the road trips, Mom, you, Aunt Rosie, Anthony and I had over the years. All the family holidays together with Dom’s family and New Years Day dinners at Aunt Rosie’s. So many memories I will cherish all my life. You were always there every time my mom or I needed a shoulder. I could go on and on with all my wonderful memories, but I will end here to say. Those of us that had the privilege and honor of knowing Marie Adornato-Alcaras got to know one of the most amazing people we will have met in our lifetime. As your friend mentioned, you were and are so much more than what was so very little written about you. You and my memories will live on in my heart. You were loved and will be missed!

Dear, treasured best friend of our shared childhood:  you were, are, and always will be so much more than this obituary conveys.  Did no one know that?  Time, life, the way our paths unfold separated us but I have NEVER forgotten you or your family.  My confirmation name is still Rose and your mother will always be my godmother.  All that we shared is forever.  Rest in peace, dearheart.   I will always hold you in mine.  Love you forever Marie!

I remember spending so many Christmas eves at her home with her family when we all had relocated to Buffalo from Syracuse.She made the 7 fishes and the most amazing Lentel soup that I had ever had.  Prayers and Love to the Alcaras and Adornato families during these tough times 🙏🏻
