Smith, Betsy (Kit) Van Valkenburg and the late Christopher Smith; also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive friends Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main Street (at Cayuga Rd.), Williamsville. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Calvary Episcopal Church, 20 Milton St., Williamsville. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or Hospice Buffalo. Kathy was a vibrant, funny and life-loving woman who embraced those she loved. To know and love her was truly a gift.
